biography

At just 18 years of age, Ky has been performing professionally for over 10 years with his first stage performance at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney Opera's Madame Butterfly. But it would have been his tap classes with Dein Perry, creator of the world-famous Tap Dogs, that unknowingly put Ky on the path of entertainment.  Although still with a desire to be a professional soccer player, Ky entered himself on to Australia's Got Talent at age 9 with his own tap routine. Ky was to go on and become that years youngest semi-finalist.  At the time of the finals, Ky was also acting in the award-winning Australian drama Underbelly Razor. In the year 2012, fresh off his stint on AGT Ky decided to add singing to his skills and within 6 weeks was cast as Gustave in Andrew Lloyd Webbers sequel to Phantom of the Opera ‘Love Never Dies’ at the Lyric Theatre singing duets with both the Phantom and Christine.

Later that same year he was so fortunate to be cast by Andrew Upton and Cate Blanchett in the Sydney Theatre Company's adaptation of Dylan Thomas' ‘Under Milk Wood.’ with Australian royalty Jack Thompson (Star Wars). Next up was the Auckland tour of Cameron McIntosh's ‘Mary Poppins’ playing Michael Banks. Although the newest Michael, Ky was selected as the opening night performer to rave reviews.

In 2014 Ky entered into the inaugural season of The Voice Kids earning himself a spot on Team Delta with the Jackson 5 classic, I Want You Back.

Around this time Ky, age 12/13, began regular street performing in Sydney's Pitt Street and released his first EP titled The Beginning which included 5 original songs and 3 covers.

The following year, Ky was able to use his singing, tapping and acting skills to secure the coveted role of Australian icon, Peter Allen, playing Young Peter in the TV biopic titled ‘Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door’.  Ky won an AACTA (Australia's Oscars) for Best Supporting Actor and a TV Week Logie (Emmy) judged and awarded by Damon Herriman (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood).

At age 14 Ky also opened for International Superstar Jessie J in conjunction with the opening of Microsofts flagship store.

Moving to Los Angeles at age 15 Ky became the first International Mouseketeer in Disney's reboot of the Mickey Mouse Club called Club Mickey Mouse. Ky also released a new EP, Dare to Believe featuring a further 6 original songs with Just Dance being a Musical.ly finalist in their Next Way May new songs competition.

Ky has accumulated over 450,000 YouTube subscribers and over 150 million views with his original and cover music videos, and his new song 'Dear Mom' from October 2019 has received over 25 million Facebook views.
